Little Cottonwood Group Campground sits at 5,700 feet in Snake River Canyon, 30 miles southwest of Jackson. Surrounded by pine and aspen trees, the facility consists of a single dirt-parking group site that accommodates up to 40 people. Physical amenities include picnic tables, a campfire circle, bear-proof food storage lockers, vault toilets, drinking water, and trash collection, with no electrical service. A hillside path leads down to the Snake River for cutthroat trout fly-fishing, kayaking, and whitewater rafting, with a public boat ramp located nearby.
