Sprawling park in the Laramie Mountains foothills between Cheyenne and Laramie, spanning 3,395 acres across rolling hills and sharp granite outcroppings at 6,450–7,500 feet elevation. Three reservoirs—Granite Springs, Crystal, and North Crow—support kokanee salmon, rainbow and brown trout, and perch. Over 35 miles of trails wind through the park for biking, hiking, and horseback riding; visitors also enjoy boating, canoeing, water skiing, fishing, rockhounding, and archery. A green-certified visitor center anchors the recreation infrastructure.
