Sprawling 15,890-acre park surrounding the Keyhole Reservoir, formed by damming the Belle Fourche River ten miles northeast of Moorcroft at 4,088 feet elevation. The reservoir holds 334,200 acre-feet across 13,700 acres of water surface, though 90 percent of the allocation flows to South Dakota by interstate compact. Multiple campgrounds, a concessionaire marina, fishing and water recreation, and five hiking trails serve visitors year-round.
