Historic site in Douglas preserving the Officers' Club building, the only remaining structure from a massive World War II military complex that once housed up to 2,000 Italian and 3,000 German prisoners of war alongside 500 army personnel. The 180-building camp operated from 1943 to 1946 and was larger than the town itself. Museum exhibitions, picnic areas, restrooms, and event space available seasonally.
