Situated along the banks of the North Platte River at 7,200 feet elevation, Bennett Peak Campground features 11 campsites equipped with picnic tables, fire rings with grills, sandy tent pads, and individual parking spaces (no pull-throughs). On-site amenities include a boat ramp, day-use parking, accessible bank fishing, and a vault toilet. The hand-pump well is currently inoperable, so visitors must bring their own water. The surrounding area connects to the nearby Snowy Range, with wildlife such as bighorn sheep, mule deer, and trout present along the river corridor.
The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Flat ground is scarce -- under a tenth of the terrain within a few hundred yards is level.
