3.4 of the 13.7 miles in are maintained only for high-clearance vehicles. Mostly gravel, with 3.4 miles of dirt. Level ground alongside most of its length. Winds through 8 switchbacks. Dead-end road -- no mapped turnaround; expect to back out or unhitch. Cattle guards 4.1 and 5.9 miles in.
