Setting
This site features four lakeside group shelters set along the northern tip of East Lynn Lake, a 1,005-acre flood-control reservoir in the Ohio River Valley. The lake stretches 12 miles and holds 29 native fish species, including musky, crappie, and bass. Terrain ranges from dam overlooks to creekfront and lakefront locations. Each shelter seats up to 100 people and offers access to grassy fields, playgrounds, basketball courts at select shelters, and a boat ramp. Adjacent lands include the 25,000-acre East Lynn Lake Wildlife Management Area, popular for hunting, fishing, and hiking.
Getting there: East Lynn is 19 miles south of Wayne on ST RT 37.
