Setting
Set under a forest canopy in the Grandview area of New River Gorge National Park, this medium-sized picnic shelter holds up to 90 people across its covered and uncovered space. Amenities include one electrical outlet, two charcoal grills, and nearby accessible restrooms, drinking fountains, and playgrounds. An asphalt path runs within 15 feet of the shelter, placing visitors close to high gorge overlooks and five regional hiking trails.
Getting there: To reach Grandview from Beckley follow I-64 East five miles to Exit 129 B. From Lewisburg follow I-64 West forty miles to Exit 129. From either exit, turn right and follow Route 9 North six miles to Grandview.
