Setting
Shaded by a forest canopy at Grandview in New River Gorge National Park, this small picnic shelter holds roughly 72 people between its covered structure and surrounding space. The facility includes two charcoal grills, one electrical outlet, and full paved wheelchair access to the site. Restrooms, drinking water, playgrounds, and views of the river gorge from area hiking trails sit nearby.
Getting there: To reach Grandview from Beckley follow I-64 East five miles to Exit 129 B. From Lewisburg follow I-64 West forty miles to Exit 129. From either exit, turn right and follow Route 9 North six miles to Grandview.
