Setting
Nestled beneath forest cover in the Grandview area of New River Gorge National Park, this covered shelter accommodates up to 135 people inside and out. Facilities feature two electrical outlets, four charcoal grills, and paved walkway access to nearby restrooms, drinking water, and playground equipment. The surrounding park grounds offer five hiking trails and canyon views 1,400 feet above the New River.
Getting there: To reach Grandview from Beckley follow I-64 East five miles to Exit 129 B. From Lewisburg follow I-64 West forty miles to Exit 129. From either exit, turn right and follow Route 9 North six miles to Grandview.
