Setting
Situated on a hill off the Grandview Rim Trail near North Rim Overlook, this stone shelter is enclosed on three sides and features an indoor fireplace. The site provides two electrical outlets, a charcoal grill, and space for up to 75 people inside and out. Reached via a small set of stone stairs, it sits near playgrounds, a horseshoe pit, restrooms, and drinking water, offering access to New River Gorge views and forest trails.
Getting there: To reach Grandview from Beckley follow I-64 East five miles to Exit 129 B. From Lewisburg follow I-64 West forty miles to Exit 129. From either exit, turn right and follow Route 9 North six miles to Grandview.
