Island Campground is a primitive camping area located near Bartow, West Virginia, set adjacent to Long Run and the East Fork of the Greenbrier River. Anglers come for immediate stream access, while hikers use it as a base for nearby routes. The 8-mile East Fork Trail #365 offers longer, difficult terrain, and the 1.8-mile Smoke Camp Trail #324 provides a shorter option for day hikes.
Getting there: From Bartow, WV, take US Route 250S for approximately 3 miles. Take a left on Route 28. Campground is on the left after approximately 3 more miles.
