Setting
Seneca Shadows Campground sits in the Potomac River valley with open views of the 900-foot Seneca Rocks. The facility features standard RV sites, 13 electric hookup sites, 40 walk-in tent spots, and 3 group tent loops. Amenities include flush and vault restrooms, hot showers, an RV dump station, trash dumpsters, drinking water, lantern posts, picnic tables, fire rings, and an amphitheater. Located across the road from the Seneca Rocks Visitor Center, campers have direct access to rock climbing routes, the North Fork River, and mountain hiking trails.
Getting there: From Elkins WV, take US 33 east 34 miles. Turn right into the campground. From Petersburg, WV, take State Hwy 28 south 22 miles. Turn right into the campground. From Franklin, WV, take US 33 west 24 miles. Turn left into the campground.
