Lake Sherwood Recreation Area sits at 2,600 feet elevation along the shores of the 156-acre Lake Sherwood in Monongahela National Forest. The facility provides standard, tent-only, and group campsites equipped with gravel spurs, tent pads, picnic tables, fire rings, and lantern posts. On-site amenities include restrooms with running water, flush toilets, hot showers, an RV dump station, swimming beaches, a boat ramp, picnic shelters, and a playground. Four hiking routes, including the Lake Sherwood Trail, originate within the recreation area.
