Blue Bend Recreation Area is located at 1,860 feet elevation in a wooded valley facing Round Mountain along Anthony Creek in Monongahela National Forest. Constructed in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps, the campground features single-family sites equipped with parking spurs, picnic tables, campfire rings, trash bins, and lantern posts. Amenities include summer flush toilets and showers, seasonal vault toilets, and drinking water. The site provides direct access to Anthony Creek for swimming and fishing, as well as the 5-mile Blue Bend Loop Trail.
