Setting
Bulltown Campground sits along the headwaters of Burnsville Lake on the Little Kanawha River in central West Virginia's Allegheny foothills. The facility features nearly 200 campsites divided into loops, each equipped with its own shower house and playground. A boat ramp is located within the campground, and a swimming beach sits about one mile away. The park adjoins the Bulltown Historic Area, the site of a Civil War battle featuring a historic village and visitor center. Two general stores are located within three miles of the grounds.
Getting there: From North of Charleston, WV and I-79, take Exit 67 (Flatwoods) and travel north on U.S. Highway 19 for 10 miles. Follow signs into campground. From Clarksburg, WV and I-79, take Exit 91 (Roanoke), travel south on U.S. 19 for 28 miles. Follow signs into campground.
