Wabasso Lake Recreation Area offers 5 walk/canoe-in campsites on the edge of 49-acre Wabasso Lake in the Medford-Park Falls Ranger District of Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, about 1 mile west of Lac du Flambeau. Each site has a fire grill and picnic table. Vault toilets and potable drinking water are located at the boat landing. Available first-come, first-serve at $5 per night; day use is $5 per vehicle. No garbage service. The lake prohibits gas motors; only electric motors are allowed. Recreation includes non-motorized boating, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and fishing for bluegill and largemouth bass.
