William O'Brien State Park spans 1,520 acres along the scenic St. Croix River with rolling glacially-carved terrain, oak savannas, wetlands, and woodlands. The park offers 12 miles of trails for hiking and cross-country skiing, two swimming beaches, canoe rentals for river exploration, and excellent fishing for walleye and northern pike. Camping includes drive-in campsites and rustic cabins, with group camps accommodating 35-50 people.
