Small campground with 6 first-come, first-served sites on the Florence District of Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, 20 miles west of Florence. Each site has a fire ring, vault toilet, and access to an artesian well providing year-round drinking water. Pine River offers canoe access. $15 per night ($7.50 with Interagency pass). Open April 25–November 30. Trout fishing and backcountry trails nearby.
