Wanoka Lake Recreation Area sits 7 miles east of Iron River, Wisconsin on a 15-acre lake in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. Twenty campsites accommodate RVs up to 35 feet, each with parking spur, fire ring, picnic table, and tent pad. Potable water and vault toilets available. Open May 2–October 31. $15/night individual sites. Fishing for panfish and trout, non-motorized boating, hiking, biking, and ATV access.
