Setting
East Twin Campground is set in a forest of maple, birch, and hemlock along 110-acre East Twin Lake. The facility offers several single-family tent and RV sites—many right on the water—including two walk-in tent sites. Each location has a table and a campfire ring with a grill. Drinking water, accessible vault toilets, trash collection, and recycling bins are on site. A boat ramp sits a half-mile east for fishing largemouth bass and panfish, complete with a walk-in portage to West Twin Lake. Nearby trails accommodate hiking and mountain biking.
Getting there: Drive 4 miles north from Clam Lake on County Highway GG. Turn right (east) on Forest Road 190 and continue for about one mile to the campground.
