Pleasant Valley Campground lies along the American River in the Northern Cascade Range within the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. The small facility features roughly a dozen standard sites accommodating tents and RVs, equipped with picnic tables, vault toilets, and drinking water, but no electrical hookups. The adjacent river holds rainbow, brook, and cutthroat trout for anglers, as well as cold-water swimming and rafting. Nearby trailheads include Union Creek and Crow Lake, with access to the Pacific Crest Trail and Goat Rocks Wilderness.
The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Sits on broad, near-level ground.
Fifes Peaks stands 3,514 ft above the site, 2.2 miles north. Kettle Creek runs 0.1 mi off. Exposed here -- the nearest through road is 0.2 miles off, a 17-site campground. Most of them shaded. The nearest town, Cle Elum, is 25 mi off.
