Indian Flat Group Campground sits on the banks of the Bumping River in a conifer forest within the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. Designed for groups up to 65 people and 22 vehicles, the facility includes one large central site and several spur sites along a loop. On-site amenities feature picnic tables, campfire rings, drinking water, and four vault toilets. Nearby Bumping Lake provides boating, fishing, and a sandy beach, while the 26-mile American Ridge Trail, Goat Rocks Wilderness, and Chinook Scenic Byway are easily accessible.
The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad.
Bumping River runs 0.1 mi off. Deadhorse Hill stands 876 ft above the site, 1.3 miles northeast. Exposed here -- the nearest through road is 0.1 miles off, a single-site campground. A group campground -- most of them shaded. The nearest town, Cle Elum, is 17 mi off.
