Setting
Cougar Flat Campground is set in a mountain forest next to the Bumping River, northwest of Naches in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. The site features eight standard campsites and four walk-in tent sites, all equipped with picnic tables and fire rings with grills. Vault toilets and drinking water are available on site. Visitors use the camp to access hiking along the nearby American Ridge and Goose Prairie trails, fish the river, or head to Bumping Lake for boating, swimming, and sandy beach access.
Getting there: From Naches, take Highway 410 to milepost 88.4, then turn left on Bumping Lake Road and continue for 6 miles.
