Cottonwood Campground sits along the Naches River in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, framed by old-growth forests and Cascade peaks. The facility offers standard and tent-only campsites equipped with vault toilets and drinking water, but no electric hookups. Campers have direct access to the river for swimming and fishing, while nearby stretches host fall whitewater rafting. The surrounding area features extensive hiking networks, including the 26-mile American Ridge Trail which connects to the Pacific Crest Trail, and the nearby Boulder Cave trail.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad.
