American Ridge Lodge is an unfurnished 1930s Civilian Conservation Corps ski lodge near the William O. Douglas Wilderness at 3,041 feet. Built alongside one of Washington's first downhill ski areas, the 43x48-foot rustic lodge features a kitchen counter area, benches, cabinets, and a wood stove. The grounds offer fire rings, picnic tables, and space for dispersed group camping. There is no electricity or piped water, though summer drinking water can be pumped 1.5 miles away at Cedar Springs Campground. A historic 20-seater outhouse serves the site.
The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad.
