Colonial Creek South Campground in WA -- Campground & RV Camping in Washington

Set in an old-growth forest of western redcedar, hemlock, and Douglas-fir, Colonial Creek South Campground sits along the shore of Diablo Lake on State Route 20 in North Cascades National Park. The facility features 93 campsites, including 10 walk-in, tent-only sites and gravel drive-in spaces. Site amenities include picnic tables, campfire rings, bear-proof storage boxes, drinking water, flush toilets, garbage facilities, and an RV dump station. On-site access leads to Diablo Lake and the Thunder Creek Trailhead, with the North Cascades Visitor Center located 11 miles to the west.

Getting there: Colonial Creek South Campground is located near milepost 130 on State Route 20. From Burlington, WA, drive 70 miles (113 km) east on State Route 20. From Twisp, WA, drive 71 miles (114 km) west on State Route 20.
