Campground details
Setting
Fishhook Park sits on the waterfront of Lake Sacajawea, a reservoir formed by Ice Harbor Lock and Dam on the Lower Snake River in eastern Washington. Named after the historic Fishhook Rapids visited by Lewis and Clark in 1805, the campground is shaded by mature trees against black rock canyon walls. Facilities include 41 family campsites with electric hookups, 11 walk-up primitive tent sites, and a day-use group shelter. The site features a boat ramp, drawing visitors for salmon and steelhead fishing, swimming, boating, and hiking.
Getting there: From Pasco, Washington, take Highway 12 east. After crossing the Snake River Bridge, take the first exit and head east on State Route 124. Continue for 19 miles, then turn left, heading north on Fishhook Park Road. Follow for 4 miles to the park entrance; the campground is on the left.
