Setting
Lake Gillette Campground is situated on the east shore of Lake Gillette, shaded by a forest of lodgepole pine and tamarack. The site features 14 campsites with paved interior roads and parking spurs, alongside vault toilets, drinking water, and bear-proof garbage containers. Visitors come for boating, swimming, and fishing on the lake. Onsite amenities include hike-in access to the water's edge, a nearby amphitheater, and direct foot access to Rufus Trail #148.
Getting there: From Colville, WA: Head north on N Maple St toward E 2nd Ave for 0.1 miles. Turn right at the 2nd cross street onto WA-20 E/E 3rd Ave Continue to follow WA-20 E for 24.5 miles. Turn right onto NF-200/Pendoreille Lake Rd for 0.4 miles. Turn left and continue for 236 feet. Destination will be on the right.
