Setting
Located on Lake Roosevelt along the Columbia River, Kettle Falls Locust Grove Group Site features two group campsites set within a grove of locust trees. Overlooking the lake near the site of Old Kettle Falls, the property sits a quarter-mile from the main campground and its multi-lane boat launch. While there is a beachfront on-site, swimming conditions are not ideal. The area hosts wildlife including moose, elk, deer, eagles, and numerous fish species like walleye and trout. Historic St. Paul's Mission sits two miles away, and full services in the town of Kettle Falls are under ten minutes by car.
Getting there: The campground is 87 miles north of Spokane, Washington. Take U.S. Highway 395 north to the town of Kettle Falls, turn south on Boise Road at Barney's Bridge and travel 3.5 miles to the campground.
