Evans Campground in WA -- Campground & RV Camping in Washington

Evans Campground spans a long, narrow strip along the northeastern shore of Lake Roosevelt inside Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area. Shaded by ponderosa pine, Douglas fir, and maple trees, the facility features 44 individual campsites, all offering direct views of the water. On-site amenities include seasonal drinking water, picnic tables, fire pits, a playground, and a boat launch providing year-round access for boating, swimming, and fishing. Located about eleven miles north of historic St. Paul's Mission in Kettle Falls, the site is unplowed in winter.

Getting there: Take Washington state Highway 395 north from Spokane. Travel 70.3 miles to the town of Kettle Falls, take Highway 25 north and travel 11 miles. Follow signs to the campground. It is on the west side of the highway.
