Setting
Boardman Group Campground is a single-site facility along the Stillaguamish River on the Mountain Loop Scenic Byway in Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Accommodating groups of up to 35 people and open to RVs, the layout features picnic tables, campfire rings with grills, and vault toilets; campers must bring their own drinking water. Old-growth cedar, fir, and hemlock line the property, offering direct access to the gently flowing river for salmon and trout fishing, with nearby access to trails across the region.
Getting there: From Seattle, go north on I-5 to Everett. Take exit 194 onto Highway 2. At Highway 204, go north to Lake Stevens. Turn north on Highway 9. Turn east on Highway 92 to Granite Falls. The campground is approximately 16 miles east of Granite Falls on Highway 7 Scenic Byway.
