Setting
Shaded by large evergreen trees along the Lewis River, this campground sits at an elevation of 1,300 feet in Gifford Pinchot National Forest. The site provides 43 standard non-hookup drive-in campsites equipped with picnic tables and campfire grills, alongside composting toilets and drinking water. Visitors come to walk trails directly from camp down to the river for catch-and-release trout fishing, access the Lewis River Trail, or view nearby Lower Lewis River Falls, Curly Creek Falls, and Big Creek Falls.
Getting there: From Portland or Seattle take I-5 to exit 21 for WA-503 E toward Woodland/Cougar. WA-503 will turn into FR 90, turn right at the Pine Creek Visitor Center. Lower Falls Campground will be on your right hand side after you pass mile marker 28 on FR 90.
