Government Mineral Springs Guard Station is a two-story 1937 CCC cabin in Gifford Pinchot National Forest, set among old-growth conifers near Trapper Creek Wilderness. It sleeps nine, featuring a kitchen with a propane stove, cookware, living room with fireplace, propane heat and lights, and an outdoor vault toilet. Guests must bring drinking water and supplies; untreated stream water is 300 feet away. Snow blocks winter road access, requiring a half-mile trek on skis, snowshoes, or snowmobiles. Nearby options include Wind River fishing and the 3.5-mile Falls Creek Falls Trail.
