All 6.3 miles in are maintained only for high-clearance vehicles. Mostly paved, with 2 miles of gravel. Climbs 2,800 ft over 6.3 miles -- sustained grades near 12%, with pitches to 28%. Stretches run along a shelf with a drop of up to ~180 ft on the downhill side. Winds through 15 switchbacks.
