Setting
Mineral Park Campground sits near the confluence of the North and South Forks of the Cascade River beneath an old-growth forest canopy in Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Divided into East and West sections, the widely spaced, water-free sites feature picnic tables, campfire rings with grills, and vault toilets, accommodating tents, trailers, and RVs. The adjacent free-flowing Cascade River provides scenic waterfront access. Backpacking trailheads like the Hidden Lake Trail start nearby near Marblemount, with the Pacific Crest Trail accessible in the region.
Getting there: From Seattle, take I-5 north for about 42 miles. Exit onto WA-530 East, then continue east on Highway 20 for about 40 miles. At the town of Marblemount, cross the bridge over the Skagit River and continue east approximately 16 miles to the Mineral Park Campground.
