Setting
Marble Creek Campground sits beneath a forest canopy along the Cascade River, a designated National Scenic River in Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Widely spaced sites accommodate tents, trailers, and RVs, but there are no electric hookups or drinking water. Campers must bring their own water supply. On-site facilities include vault toilets, picnic tables, and campfire rings with grills. Local activities include summer hiking, fishing, horseback riding, and winter skiing. Nearby trailheads near Marblemount lead to Hidden Lake Lookout, and historic CCC buildings stand at Verlot.
Getting there: From Seattle, take I-5 north for about 42 miles. Exit onto WA-530 East, then continue east on Highway 20 for about 40 miles. At the town of Marblemount, cross the bridge over the Skagit River and continue east approximately 8 miles to the Marble Creek Campground.
