Setting
Silver Springs Campground sits among old-growth trees on the banks of the White River, just outside Mount Rainier National Park. The campground offers standard and accessible sites for tents and RVs, plus a group shelter, picnic tables, campfire rings, drinking water, and flush and vault toilets. Natural springs flow through the property, and the White River provides fishing for salmon and trout. The nearby 0.5-mile John Muir Nature Trail features an ancient 700-year-old Douglas fir, while the Crystal Mountain Trail offers hiking routes with expansive views of the river valley.
Getting there: From Enumclaw, Washington, drive approximately 33 miles southeast on State Highway 410 toward Mount Rainier National Park.
