Setting
Panhandle Campground stretches along the east bank of the Pend Oreille River inside Colville National Forest. On-site facilities include drinking water, vault toilets, picnic tables, a boat ramp, and a designated swimming area. Small wetland patches on the south end provide bird watching opportunities, while the river itself supports motorized boating up to 35 mph, canoeing, and fishing for bass and trout.
