Ruffed Grouse is a small forested campground along Eightmile Creek in Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, 15 miles north of Winthrop. Sites accommodate 2 tents or 1 RV and 1 tent with a maximum length of 35 feet. The campground has vault toilets and picnic tables but no potable water; visitors must pack out waste. It operates first-come, first-served at $15 per night for a single site plus a $5 vehicle fee. Nearby trails lead into the Pasayten Wilderness.
