Shrub-steppe mountain landscape at Winthrop with 11,000-foot spring-fed Pearrygin Lake. Seasonal wildflowers and creeks dot the 1,186-acre park with mountain views. Boat launch (first Friday April onward) with dock and designated swim area. Campsites (including accessible options), vacation house rentals; showers, fire pits, picnic tables, ranger station. Three-mile Rex Derr hiking trail. Boating, fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming, biking, winter sports.
