Campground details
Setting
Tower Rock Campground sits a quarter-mile south of the Cispus River near Mount St. Helens, shadowed by its namesake rock pillar and surrounded by mountain meadows. Shaded by cedar, Douglas fir, and maple, the campground features paved back-in spurs ranging from 20 to 30 feet for RV and tent camping. Each site comes with a picnic table and campfire ring, and vault toilets and drinking water are located on site. Anglers can fish for brook trout in the nearby river, while the Burley Mountain Trailhead sits four miles away, leading hikers to Angel Falls.
Getting there: Take Highway 12 east from I-5 and head south on Road 25. Go left at Y towards Highway 23 and continue for 8 miles. Take a right on Road 28 and another right on Road 76. Proceed to the campground.
