All 5.6 miles in are maintained only for high-clearance vehicles. Mostly gravel, with 1.1 miles of dirt. Climbs 1,800 ft over 5.6 miles -- sustained grades near 22%, with pitches to 55%. Stretches run along a shelf with a drop of up to ~180 ft on the downhill side. Little level ground alongside -- few of the stretches measured have a flat spot to pull onto. Winds through 13 switchbacks.

Cougar Mountain stands 1,729 ft above the site, 1.5 miles southwest. Little Nisqually River runs 0.6 mi off. The nearest town, Eatonville, is 10 mi off.
