The group site at Ohanapecosh Campground sits in an old-growth evergreen forest along the clear, snow-fed Ohanapecosh River on the southeast side of Mount Rainier National Park. The facility features two tent-only group sites, each accommodating up to 25 people. Drinking water is available on-site, and dedicated food storage is required due to local bear activity. Situated at an elevation of 1,914 feet, the campground lies near the Ohanapecosh Visitor Center and serves as a trailhead for hikes leading to the Silver Falls waterfall.
The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad.
