Setting
North Fork Elk Group is a gated, tent-only campsite along the Cispus River in the North Fork Campground of Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Campers fish the Cispus River for trout, salmon, and steelhead. Trail access includes the foot-only North Fork Loop, the 4,838-foot Tongue Mountain Trail, and the multi-use Valley Trail, which connects to over 50 miles of off-road vehicle tracks.
