Setting
North Fork Campground sits along the North Fork of the Cispus River under a canopy of hemlock, maple, and Douglas fir in Gifford Pinchot National Forest. The site features 33 individual back-in and pull-through sites with 20- to 40-foot spurs, plus three group sites (Bear, Beaver, and Elk). Facilities include picnic tables, grills, and drinking water. The Cispus River offers fishing for brook trout, salmon, and steelhead. Hikers, mountain bikers, and off-highway vehicle riders can access the North Fork Loop, River, and Valley trails, connecting to over 50 miles of OHV routes.
Getting there: From I-5, take Highway 12 east to Randle, and from there go south on Road 25 and continue until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork onto Road 23 and travel for about 10 miles to North Fork Campground & Group Camps.
