Setting

Some privacy

North Fork Bear Group sits in a dense canopy of pine, fir, and cedar along the Cispus River within North Fork Campground in Gifford Pinchot National Forest. The gated, secluded group site accommodates up to 25 people with RVs or tents, offering picnic tables, grills, drinking water, an on-site host, and firewood sales. Anglers fish the river for brook trout, salmon, and steelhead. Visitors access the multi-use Valley Trail for mountain biking and over 50 miles of off-road vehicle routes, walk the North Fork Loop trail, or hike nearby Tongue Mountain Trail.

Getting there: From I-5, take Highway 12 east to Randle, and from there go south on Road 25 and continue until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork onto Road 23 and travel for about 10 miles to North Fork Campground & Group Camps.
