All 1.3 miles in are maintained only for high-clearance vehicles. Gravel the whole way in (1.3 miles). Climbs 780 ft over 1.3 miles -- sustained grades near 28%, with pitches to 50%. Stretches run along a shelf with a drop of up to ~130 ft on the downhill side. Little level ground alongside -- few of the stretches measured have a flat spot to pull onto.
Stahl Mountain stands 2,148 ft above the site, 1.9 miles east. Little Nisqually River runs 0.1 mi off. The nearest town, Eatonville, is 8.6 mi off.
