Wish Poosh Campground sits at 2,300 feet elevation near the southeastern shore of Cle Elum Lake in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. Surrounded by old-growth forest, mountains, and low-elevation valleys, the site provides direct access to water recreation and nearby trails, including access points to the Pacific Crest Trail within five miles and swimming at Speelyi Beach. The grounds contain 34 campsites configured for both tent and RV camping. Each campsite includes a picnic table and a campfire ring with a grill. Portable toilets are provided on site.
The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Sits on broad, near-level ground.
Mount Baldy stands 2,827 ft above the site, 2.4 miles west. Davis Creek runs 0.1 mi off. Exposed here -- the nearest through road is 0.1 miles off, a 34-site campground. Most of them shaded. Night skies measure Bortle 3 -- a dark rural sky. The nearest town, Cle Elum, is 8.6 mi off.
