121-acre waterfront park situated along Hood Canal in Kitsap County, with 1,500 feet of rocky and sandy shoreline. The landscape features scenic mountain views across the water and relatively low elevation. Visitors can enjoy camping, picnicking, boating, diving, fishing, and swimming. The site has an interesting history: it originally operated as a private auto camp for two decades before closure in 1959. The state acquired the property in 1963 and opened it to the public as an official state park in 1975.
